Celeste began studying violin at age four in South Texas and pretty quickly realized she was on to something. She began performing professionally when she was only twelve and went on to study vocal performance and theater at Southern Methodist University in Dallas and then at AMDA in New York City. She performed as a vocalist & violinist at Six Flags over Texas and in elite Top 40 bands around the country and overseas while also working as an event planner at South by Southwest.
She later earned her MBA at University of Texas at Dallas and began her own solo business when she moved to Washington DC in 2018. This endeavor was the beginning of Violin Event Entertainment – formalized in 2022 as she began adding to her team. She has personally performed at more than 2,500 events for such distinguished guests as Luke Combs, Vanilla Ice, Carlos Slim and Presidents Bill Clinton and George W. Bush. She had the great honor of performing with Burna Boy during his concert tour in 2024.
She currently lives in San Antonio, TX with her husband Joe and their two dogs, Ranger and Pepe… but most weekends you’ll find her flying off to a different state to perform for her awesome clients.
Celeste was AMAZING!!! She played top 40 classics and intricate Bollywood numbers and has an excellent singing voice to complement her violin skills. A truly exquisite and memorable experience for us and all our guests.

Q&A with Celeste
A: I started private lessons when I was four years old, just like all my other siblings. My mom took us to every lesson and forced us to practice — whether we liked it or not. My parents made huge sacrifices to make it possible and now I’m so grateful that they did.
A: Lots of Suzuki tapes, haha! (That’s the violin method my teacher used.) My dad also made me listen to some Charlie Daniels because he hoped I’d catch on to those. He was a plumber, and I loved singing along to the Oldies in his truck when I’d go with him to his service calls. “Chantilly Lace” by the Big Bopper was one of our favorites.
A: Honestly, I love playing the violin, but one of my favorite performances was when I played Belle in a theater production of Beauty and the Beast.
A: Musical Theater, Irish, Bluegrass, Classical Crossover, Big Band, Latin, Salsa… I’m ALL over the place!
A: I actually switched my concentration from Violin to Vocal Performance when I was doing my undergrad, so my music degree is in voice, not violin. I love to sing — especially Broadway and Jazz — but I’ve studied opera and performed everything from Aretha Franklin to Nicki Minaj over the years singing in cover bands. I love it all!
A: I grew up in Harlingen, TX — way down at the bottom tip of Texas. I went to college in Dallas and spent eight years there, then one year in NYC before coming back to Texas for another eight years in DFW. Then Austin, then San Antonio, then five years in Virginia (near DC). Now living back in San Antonio near my family!
A: My hubby Joe! He would probably quit his job and go fishing everyday if he could!
A: If I’m not listening to a song I need to learn for an upcoming gig, you’ll most likely find me listening to a business podcast or a fictional audiobook. I adore cozy mysteries and regency romance. Pure fluff and escapism.
A: Joe and I adopted two amazing mutts shortly after we got together. Ranger and Pepe are the sweetest little guys and they’re super low maintenance. They love their doggy door and the acres they have to run around here!
A: Honeybook (my CRM) for work, Audible for fun, and Headspace for my mental health.
A: Chips and salsa. Midnight, noon, doesn’t matter. 🙂
A: Power walking with a business podcast in my ear. I usually throw in some interval sprints to keep my heart rate up. I also love yoga, especially hot yoga.
A: Telling jokes and making people laugh! I’ve always wished I was funnier, but half the time I don’t even get the joke myself and my husband just pats me on the head and says, “It’s okay, sweetie.” I would love to be the clever, witty one, but I just have to leave it to those who are naturally that way, I suppose.
A: Graphic design Graphic design and event planning — two of my favorite activities. I design most of the graphics and art for my business, and I’m no pro, but I love it! Event planning used to be my career. Now it’s just a hobby, but I still have a hard time focusing on anything else when I’m planning an event. So addicting!
Celeste is so talented and was the easiest vendor to work with while we were planning the wedding.
All I basically had to do was tell her the time and location and what our first dance song would be and she took care of EVERYTHING ELSE! She coordinated with the DJ, venue and planner. With so many vendors involved in an Indian wedding, I’m so glad we found Celeste who made it so easy for us. Thank you so much for everything!
