It’s hard to believe I’ve been in San Antonio for over three months already! Honestly, I’ve been traveling for gigs so much I’m pretty sure I’ve spent more nights away from home than at home recently! But as my incredible and super supportive husband keeps reminding me, “You gotta make hay while the sun shines!” So that’s what I’ve been doing!

One of the things that makes us so fun and adaptable is our ability to improv with the DJ at any event. We have our own set lists of course for those times when it’s needed, but we can also play by ear and pick up on what the DJ is playing to add a bit of flair while keeping the flow of the event. It’s a dynamic duo — expert DJ vibes with live music on top.

Why have live music at your event? Because it makes people happy! There’s nothing like watching guests’ faces light up when we walk by or twirl around the dance floor. And when we get them singing along… BONUS! Those are the moments that make all our hard work pay off!

Bollywood Focus
I still can’t believe how warmly my team and I have been embraced by the Indian wedding industry and all the incredible professionals in that world. We still play for all kinds of events around the country, but Indian weddings make up close to 75% of our gigs, and we wouldn’t have it any other way!
Two Violins!
While most of our gigs are solo, we’re all about performing together when we get the opportunity. Double the energy, double the fun! We trade off with taking the lead and adding backup parts so it’s fun for us and fun for our audience, too! It works with Bollywood or Pop music or even pure improv with the DJ.
When I’m not performing…
Every once in a while I take a weekend off just to have fun, and a couple of weeks ago I got to attend Wurstfest in New Braunfels, TX. There were 220,000 attendees this year over the 10 days of the festival!
We only went two of those days, but it was such a fun time with my hubby and friends visiting from Dallas and Atlanta! Great music, great beer, great food!
