Can you play Desi music? And how do you know these songs?

Yes, South Asian weddings are our specialty! We have a large repertoire of Bollywood, Hindi, Punjabi music and more. Most of us are not South Asian, but we love to listen and learn new songs. We occasionally use sheet music when needed, but we mostly play from memory.

Yes, if we’re not playing with your DJ we always perform with our own professional custom backing tracks — sometimes with and sometimes without vocals.

Absolutely! We love collaborating with DJ’s. Most of our musicians can freestyle and play along with whatever they’re spinning. No setlist or pre-planning required, but we’ll always coordinate and confirm sound logistics ahead of time.

Yes, we can collaborate with any other musicians you choose to hire! Violin & tabla is an especially great combo. Rhythm and melody combined to create a dynamic duo! The electric violin & dhol combo on the dance floor is also a huge hit.

We aim to honor your traditions and your vision for the event,, including in our attire. We can wear traditional South Asian formalwear or American or fusion. Let us know if you have a preference! Also, please let us know if your crowd is particularly conservative. We will always respect your preferences as long as we’re aware of them!

Absolutely. Instrumental violin covers of popular love songs - Bollywood and American - are a great way to welcome your guests. It’s also a lovely touch for your entrances and exit. Of course we’ll keep totally silent during the ceremony itself.

Yes, we’d love to collaborate with your DJ for your Hindu ceremony. We most frequently play for the bride’s big entrance, but some clients also like to have us perform while guests are coming in from the baraat and being seated. Occasionally for the groom’s entrance as well. Less frequently, we’re asked to play here and there throughout the ceremony and/or for the exit. Keep in mind that we cannot perform for a Hindu ceremony on our own (without a DJ) and our packages are priced by the hour.

Of course! Our custom packages always include at least two specially learned songs. These are perfect for those special moments like entrances or first dance! We ask that you submit these requests at least two weeks before your event.

Yes, most of our performers are wireless, allowing us to stroll and interact with your guests. We still need a stationary setup where we control our tracks from a laptop, but we can move around within at least a 50-foot radius if it’s not too crowded.

We want to know as much as possible about your musical preferences. Our number one goal is to create a world-class entertainment experience for you and your guests and part of that means relying on our expertise and allowing us to craft a setlist that is guaranteed to entertain. We ask you to tell us your favorite songs/styles/artists, and we’ll always include as many of your requests and preferences as possible.
